This kit can be constructed to represent either of the original types of four wheel coach used on the Festiniog Railway, which were introduced for the advent of passenger traffic around 1864. Note that the kit contains enough parts to build one coach. They were originally designated as First and Third Class and the only visible difference was that 1st Class had two equally-sized windows either side of a central door, while 3rd Class had a central window with two smaller windows on either side, as illustrated in this drawing.
